Items available after closing of LAUMC
Now that Los Arcos UMC has closed, some items from the church are still available for sale or donation. Our intention has been to find new church "homes" for as much of our equipment, furniture, etc. as possible, and much has already been spoken for and hauled away. However, there are still some items still available, not limited to those listed below. Proceeds have gone towards paying our final bills, and also helping us to continue our tradition of paying our full apportionments to the United Methodist Church for the ministries of the UMC, both locally, and in the world.
If you're interested in anything listed below, please send an email to David Topping at <music@losarcos.org> and he will suppoly further information, and/or put you in touch with a representative of our Board of Trustees, as appropriate.
Galanti Electronic Organ
Two-manual Galanti Praeludium I from 1980's (now comparable to the later model Praeludium II) electronic organ, with 22 digitally-sampled speaking stops, internal and external speakers, and a full AGO pedalboard. There are 5 general presets, a swell pedal, a transposer, MIDI (limited), and other adjustments (chiff, reverb, etc.). Stops are:
I: 8 Principal, 8 Rohrflute, 4 Octave, 2 Fifteenth, IV Mixture, 8 Trumpet, Chimes
II: 8 Bourdon, 8 Gambe, 8 Voix Celeste II, 4 Flute, Nazard, 2 Flautino, Tierce, Cymbal III, 8 Oboe, Tremulant
Ped: 16 Principal, 16 Subbass, 8 Octave, 8 Gedackt, 4 Choral Bass, 16 Faggot
Sw-Gt, Sw-Ped, Gt-Ped
We'd like it to either go to another church, or it is compact enough to be a church organist's home practice instrument. More details and pictures are available. Price negotiable. Contact David Topping at 480-766-9228 for further details.
Handbells
3-octave set of Schulmerich handbells, range C4 to C7, in the four original cases, in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. Also availabe are 6 folders and 6 black metal folder risers, music, tables with custom pads and covers, and other accessories. A similar set just sold recently on eBay for almost $6,000, so we'd like to receive $5,000 from a local church or school (a new set is almost twice that price). More photos are available on our Facebook page.
